Are the Christmas Carolers kids safe?

We, the jeepney passengers may have different thoughts in mind regarding these rampant Jeepneys' Christmas Carolers. For sure many of us have experienced being snatched, hold-up within the public transportation vehicles particularly the jeepneys.
Every afternoon, these 2-3 kids with the age ranging 11-15 who always have had their introduction before singing their lousy christmas songs "Ate, Kuya, di me Kawatan, Di me tulisan, namamasko lang" with these lines, are they safe enough to trust them? Of course the answer is a big "NO".
I've always heard that a certain passenger has been snatched with children/teenagers pretending to be Carolers. Such incident will happen again and again if we are not taking care of ourselves especially in the public or in the Streets of Cebu City. Sometimes, these Kids tried to forced you to give something even for a single coin with their unmannered approach. How certain are you that a single coin you handed those kids will help them for their future? Or they might use it as well to buy with their uncontrollable vice.

With my work schedule, of course I'll  be home late night. Me with my boyfriend walked along the new building of Asian College of Technology, P. Del Rosario Street, a kid around 9-10 years old chased us targeted our back. We stopped and ask him why is he following us. He didn't reply but instead he grabbed a 2 inches piece of stone and we were nearly thrown. And this kid is also a jepneey christmas carolers in the streets of Cebu city.

So, Be careful when riding a jeep.
