Aboitiz Group of Companies Supports Earth hour

Cebu City, Aboitiz Group of Companies will be participating this world wide earth hour on March 27, 2010 at 8:30 - 9:30 pm to switching off lights for an hour.

Earth hour is participated by countries worldwide to switching off their lights for an hour that aims to increase the awareness in climate change.


This is a global event participated for more than 88 countries and 4000 cities participated last year. Earth Hour is a global event organized by World Wide Fund (WWF). People across the world can participate through switching off their lights and stand alone in darkness for an hour to support the campaign against global warming.
In 2007, 2.2 million of residence and commercial buildings joined this event. They had turned off their lights and supported this global campaign against climate change.
