Magellan's Cruz

Magellan's Cruz- is one of the tourist destination in Cebu City, Philippines. It is situated at the back of Basilica del Santo Nino and is housed in a chapel in Magallanes Street just in front of City Hall, Cebu City.

Magellan's Cruz was planted by Portugese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arrival on April 21, 1521.

The rumors spread that the cross inside the chapel is not the original which was Ferdinand Magellan planted. They have placed the original cross in a secured place.

its scientifically impossible for that to be the cross becausee such old wood must have fragmented and been decomposed... unless its secured in an airtight, secret government facility where no bacteria or lifeform can enter...

...So I was blog hopping the other day and I found a website called yummy-cebu.com, and I

looked in to it and fell in love - it's like paradise - food lovers from all over Cebu and the world can

share their recipes and experiences, and they can comment and like, and win contests and get dinners or

lunches for free at a restaurant like Gustavians, Michaelangelo Pizzeria, Et Cetera, and there is no fee in anything!

Oh, by the way, check out these links:

There are some other interesting site I found there, too... exactly the same as yummy but variations, like vacation-cebu, gimmick-cebu, or shopping-cebu... but they are interesting, too.... I recommended them to my friends, and they all joined - said they were awesome... So I decided to spread the word so no one misses anything! LOL.
