Things to do in Cebu: Magellan's Cross

If you want to be more historical, Magellan's Cross was planted on April 1521 after a Portuguese and Spanish Explorers first came to Cebu, Philippines. It is located in Magallanes Street, Cebu City just in front of Cebu City Hall and beside the Basilica Minore del Santo Nino. The wooden Cross has been placed inside the chapel and is being preserved.
According to the history that the original cross has been destroyed or had been disappeared after Magellan's death and the current cross is a replica of the original cross planted.

Ideas for Lodging in Cebu

If you want a scenic view of the entire Cebu City, I recommend you to stay at Crown Regency hotel and towers. It is located in Fuentre Osmena beside Robinsons Mall. Panoramic view of the City can be seen at the rooftop and a Sky Adventure with edge roller coasters and many more exciting and breathtaking activities.

Another good hotel to stay in with in Cebu City is Diplomat Hotel in Cebu City. It is located in F. Ramos Street, Cebu City just a few blocks away from Robinsons Mall, Fuente Osmena. Walking distance also to Mango Avenue - the place for different entertaining clubs, videokes, foods and drinks.
