Located just about 30-minute drive from JY Square Mall in Lahug, Cebu City, Mountain View Nature’s Park offers both the locals and tourists a perfect place to enjoy nature and beautiful scenic view of the city, especially during the night. Just don’t forget to bring your jacket.
Fun Things to Do in Cebu Mountain View Nature’s Park
There are plenty of fun activities you can do in the park with its swimming pool, restaurants, mini zoo, botanical gardens, children’s park, and cottages. The park is also an excellent venue for team building activities, retreat, and camping.
The park contains a plethora of various plants and trees. You can go to the Main Viewing Deck to get a breathtaking, magnificent view of Cebu. It would be best if you bring the camera with you and take pictures of the wonderful landscape.
There are also videoke stalls for those who enjoy singing. But the price for beer or wine is more expensive, which understandable considering the distance of the nearest grocery store, and the amount of gasoline consumed to drive to and from the hill.
How to Get There
If you don’t have your own car, you can go there by taxi. But the driver will more likely to ask you hefty price. The other alternative is to contact one of the resorts in the park to rent a van. The best affordable alternative is to take the habal-habal or the motorcycle transportation.
Entrance Fee and Other Charges for the Facilities
The entrance fee is only P50. If you want to use the swimming pool, you will have to pay an additional P100, and P75 for kids. If you want to take a room or a cottage, the rates ranges from P500 to P1,200. If you take an air-conditioned room, the pay is of course higher
Mountain View also offers rooms if you want an overnight stay that cost around P500 - 700 (philippine peso) that depends on the type of the room (if its air conditioned or not). I can also recommend you to stay in Marco Polo Plaza hotel located in Nivel Hills Lahug, just before you reach Mountain View.
Roosevelt Mountain Resort Cebu City is also a good place to stay overnight with families and friends, reunions and other bonding moments. It is also one of the most affordable resorts in Cebu.

I have been visiting Busay for a couple of times but I haven't yet visited Cebu Mountain view... But honestly yes! The beauty up there is absolutely stunning specially during the night where you can witness the beauty of the city lights.
