
Spanish empires invaded Philippines for almost 3 centuries therefore; Most of the top tourist attractions in the Philippines are the relics from the Spanish Colonization. Cebu, Philippines is one of those islands colonized by the Spaniards. They brought us their Spanish culture, traditions, religious beliefs and even Spanish language to the Philippines. As they brought Christianity to Philippines, they built churches, brought images of the Saints and many more.

Guadalupe Cave is located in Langub, Kalunasan, Guadalupe, Cebu City. It is a pilgrimage site for Christians and believers. Our lady of Guadalupe was found inside the cave for a long time and was being forgotten until a local wild chicken trapper found the image. It is named after the Patron saint of Guadalupe “Our Lady of Guadalupe”.
Guadalupe Cave was being developed to accommodate devotees who are coming in and out of the Cave. Most of the devotees are coming from Outside Cebu. Walls of the Guadalupe Cave are dripping water and said to be that the water can be healed on any illnesses. It is our faith of “Our Lady of Guadalupe” cured those sick people.
How to Get there?It is really easy to get there in Guadalupe Cave. You can either ride a Jeepney heading to Guadalupe Cave, Langub, Kalunasan Cebu. Take a Jeepney from the capitol site heading to Kalunasan. Be sure to ask the driver for your proper destination.
You can also ride Taxi, Just tell the driver to take you off to Guadalupe Cave.
